Kurigram representative: On the occasion of the 119th birth anniversary of legendary Bengali folk artist and Bhawaiya Samrat Abbasuddin Ahmed, the day was celebrated with colorful arrangements at Jarhat in Kurigram district. Local cultural personalities, public representatives, teachers, students, artists and culture lovers participated in the event organized on the occasion of birth anniversary. At the beginning of the ceremony, a wreath was placed on the portrait of Abbasuddin Ahmed.
