Ulipur (Kurigram) Representative:One time financial grant checks were distributed among 20 beneficiaries who were students, disabled, destitute, destitute and homeless in Ulipur. A total of two lakhs of assistance is given to each of them at the rate of 10,000 taka.

The event was held on September 11 at four in the afternoon at the Upazila Parishad Auditorium under the initiative of the National Social Welfare Council and organized by the Upazila Social Service Office. Bangladesh Steel and Engineering Corporation Chairman Abdul Khalek was the chief guest.

Upazila Executive Officer ATM Arif presided over the event. Officials of Ulipur police station, freedom fighters, local social and political representatives and people of various classes and professions were present.

The organizers said that this assistance has been given to deal with the temporary financial crisis of underprivileged people. The present speakers opined that monitoring the impact of beneficiary selection and assistance would enable future programs to be more targeted.
