A woman was seen high in a tamarind tree beside a pond in Gorai Anandabazar, Ulipur, for the second time within a month. The incident on the morning of 8 June 2026 drew concern and curiosity among residents.

Family members said she had been missing since dawn and was found during a search near the house. Relatives and residents gathered below while trying to avoid making the situation more dangerous.

After some time, the woman moved to a lower branch, jumped into the pond and reached the bank safely. Her family said she could not remember how she had reached the tree. A similar incident had been reported in May.
